BIMM Music Institute named as top music business school by Billboard Magazine

We are honoured to be once again included in Billboard Magazine’s top music business schools.

BIMM has earned its place on this prestigious list for the last two years running. Billboard Magazine’s annual list of the world’s leading music business schools sees BIMM University joining esteemed institutions such as Berklee College of Music, California Institute of the Arts, New York University, and Croydon’s BRIT School.

Billboard looks at a whole host of information when deciding which music business schools make the cut. This includes industry recommendations, input from institution alumni, as well as extensive information from each school, and a decade’s research and reporting on their programs. In short, students attending any of Billboard’s top music business schools can feel confident that they will be solidly positioned to pursue a fruitful career in the music industry.

This year’s list consciously seeks to include affordable public schools and universities and features wide geographical diversity from across Europe and the US, including historically Black colleges and universities. Democratising music education is of real importance, particularly in an increasingly competitive industry.
